Tributes have been paid to a 23 year old man who died following a car crash at the weekend.
Conor Brannon, of Maryport, was taken to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle after his Ford Fiesta crashed into a tree on Scaw Road, High Harrington, in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Kristian Thomas said: “Don’t really know what to say. he was my big cousin,
but more like a brother. The person I could turn to if I ever needed help or someone to talk to. I don’t know what I’m going to do knowing I’ll never see your face again or hear your voice. You could light up the room laughing at you’re own jokes. This is the hardest thing ever been through.”
Sarah Robertson said: “Absolutely heartbroken, unreal how devastated we all are, our group definitely won’t be the same now we’ve lost you. So proud to call you my best friend and so grateful for all the memories I have with you Con!”
Keenan Winter said: “We started school together we finished it together thanks for all the memories growing up one of the nicest and funniest lads ever! You will be deeply missed RIP mate.”
Marissa Simpson said: “What a horrible world we live in,
take the best far too soon. Thoughts are with your family. Fly high. Also my heart goes out to the others in the crash my prayers are with you and your families.”
